'Solar powered' air conditioning.

view of solar powered air conditioning cells

The power consumption of the COOLMAX is so low that it run on solar power!

Solar energy has always seemed the ideal power source for air conditioning. After all, the sun is generally shining when the air conditioning load is at a maximum! However the huge power requirements of conventional air conditioners make them impractical for solar power.

A number of our customers have created their very own solar powered air conditioner by combining the

COOLMAX wall/window evaporative cooler with a conventional grid connect or remote area solar power system.
