Evaporative cooling can save up to 80% of the energy used by a refrigerative air conditioner, however there are some misunderstandings on how to get the most out of evaporative cooling. This site aims to encourage the use of evaporative cooling where it is an appropriate option.
I am a Registered Professional Engineer with a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering. (University of Adelaide). I have over 25 years experience covering all aspects of ventilation, air conditioning and mechanical services design. As well as working as a consultant, I have worked for various air conditioning contractors and manufacturers.
